About this event

Phosphoros Theatre

Witness a true story and a letter to those in power.

Dear Home Office tells the true stories of a group of young male unaccompanied minors who have fled the troubles of Afghanistan, Eritrea, Albania and Somalia.

Playing themselves on stage, these young men take the audience through immigration and social services interviews, sign-ups to credit cards they haven't heard of, the confusion of their first day at college, and lessons learned living alongside each other in a semi-detached house in Harrow.

With a backdrop of intimate footage they offer a window into their lives. In a performance featuring live music, spoken word, dance and comedy, they reveal who they were then, and who they are now.

The performance is followed by a panel discussion and Q & A with some of the members of the cast.

This project was developed by Phosphoros Theatre.
