Centre for Migration and Diaspora Studies

CMDS Film Series

The Centre for Migration and Diaspora Studies hosts a film series with the Department of Development Studies at SOAS. The series screens up to three films per term which are focused on topics relating to migration, diaspora and development studies. The films shown move across numerous geographic boundaries and contexts, covering a range of pertinent social issues which continue to provoke discussion. Screenings take place in the large KLT lecture theatre in the main college building and are followed by post-film reflections by an invited speaker or a panel discussion.

All screenings are free and open to the public.

To suggest a film or for further information, please contact: Celeste Harber (ch37@soas.ac.uk).
