Performed on the Dutar.
This virtuoso piece has entered the professional repertoire in versions for rewap and dutar. It is adapted from a traditional piece for naghra-sunay (drum and shawm) band. Today popularly played at festival time, formerly it is said to have accompanied the medieval Central Asian kings into battle.
