With their enthusiastically eclectic mix of pan-African styles and Tonga rhythms, the six young men of Mokoomba have propelled themselves into the vanguard of fresh new talent emerging from Zimbabwe, brandishing a banner of hope and pursuing their goals with determination and abundant talent. Ahead of a European tour and a much-coveted WOMEX showcase slot, we are thrilled to have Mokoomba to open this new season of the SOAS Concert Series!
