Master of the Chinese Qin

Zeng Chengwei

Taking advantage of a rare London visit to teach at the Summer School (see above), we will be presenting an evening concert with qin master from Western China, Prof. Zeng Chengwei (曾成偉). Zeng was born in the Sichuan province of China, as a sixth-generation musician of the Shu school of qin music. He teaches at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and is also a gifted maker of the instrument.
