AHRC Research Centre for Cross-Cultural Music and Dance Performance
The AHRC Research Centre has undertaken seven interrelated projects supported by a twice-yearly newsletter, a dedicated Centre website, a postgraduate training programme, and a seminar and workshop series. Each project will result in specific published outputs designed to reach a wide and diverse audience, including articles, books, audio CDs and CD-Roms. An Academic Advisory Board monitors research progress and a Management Committee ensures that targets are met.
Project 1, Project 2, Project 3 and project 6 are coordinated at SOAS. Project 5 and parts of Project 7 are coordinated at UniS. Parts of project 7 are coordinated at Roehampton. Project 4 is coordinated at Roehampton but its performer-researchers for year one and two are in residence at SOAS.
