SOAS Language Centre's summer courses start in July. Offering intensive study in languages including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, this popular programme is an excellent introduction to the range of courses offered by the Language Centre.

SOAS World Music Summer School 2008
For the 6th year running, SOAS is proud to offer an exciting summer school of world music. And in 2008 we offer a more varied programme than ever: Intensive and inspiring courses taught by master musicians. Practical workshops, master classes and performances for students of all backgrounds, beginners to advanced, amateur and professional.

SOAS Centre of Taiwan Studies Second Postgraduate Summer School - 14th - 15th July, 2008
This year, the Centre of Taiwan Studies will be hosting its Second Postgraduate Summer School, which is part of a UK/German Collaborative Taiwan Studies Teaching Project funded by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation. This Summer School will centre on Taiwanese Political Studies and Political Economy, and speakers will include Keng Shu (National Chengchi University), Alexander Tan (University of Canterbury), and Dafydd Fell(SOAS).
