Professor Palmer at the Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme for Young Chinese Lawyers

Professor Michael Palmer (School of Law, Centre of East Asian Law) joined Mr. Anthony Neoh SC JP, Mr. Wong Yan-lung (Secretary of Justice Hong Kong) and trainees on the Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme for Young Chinese Lawyers for the Hong Kong Farewell for Trainees participating in the Nineteenth Year of the LCF Scheme, which was hosted by Mr. Neoh on 23 May 2008.
Professor Palmer has been Academic Convenor of the programme since its inception in 1988, and was instrumental in its extension in 1991 to include legal practice experience in Hong Kong when he was on secondment from SOAS to the Attorney General’s Chambers in Hong Kong.
