Armenian Studies reintroduced to SOAS

Thanks to the generous sponsorship provided by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, SOAS is, as of autumn 2009, offering a Certificate in Armenian Studies comprising courses on Armenian history, culture and literature, as well as an introduction to the West Armenian language. Two Senior Teaching Fellows, Dr Igor Dorfmann-Lazarev and Mr Krikor Moskofian, have been recruited to teach these courses which are also available as floater units. Three bursaries consisting fee remissions of £1,500 each are available for students applying to join the course this autumn.
