The School of Law at SOAS has been granted ‘Recognised Course Provider’ (RCP) status by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) for its International Commercial Arbitration course.
This special status formally recognises institutions offering modules or qualifications in dispute resolution. It also allows Law students who successfully complete the course to become associate members of the Institute.

Dr Emilia Onyema, Lecturer in International Commercial Law, commented: "This RCP status is recognition from the industry of the quality of our arbitration course. This provides further assurance to prospective students wishing to study arbitration at SOAS that they are receiving high quality training."

The CIArb was founded for the global promotion, facilitation and development of all forms of private dispute resolution and to maximise the contribution that dispute resolution practitioners make.
