SOAS Announces New Academic Promotions

The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) has promoted 19 academic staff in the faculties of Arts & Humanities, Languages & Cultures and Law & Social Sciences. The promotions will take effect from 1 September 2010.

"I often say one of the School's greatest strengths is the outstanding quality of its academic staff, and these promotions provide further evidence of that claim," said SOAS Director and Principal Paul Webley.

The new professors, readers and senior lecturers are listed below.
