A forthcoming special section of World Development (38:10, 2010) on 'The Future of Small Farms' will feature four papers by CeDEP authors:

  1. "The Future of Small Farms: Trajectories and Policy Priorities" by Peter Hazell, Colin Poulton, Steve Wiggins, Andrew Dorward;
  2. "The Future of Small Farms: New Directions for Services, Institutions and Intermediation" by Colin Poulton, Andrew Dorward, Jonathan Kydd;
  3. "The Rural Non-Farm Economy: Prospects for Growth and Poverty Reduction" by Steven Haggblade, Peter Hazell, Thomas Reardon;
  4. "The Role of Agriculture in African Development" by Xinshen Diao, Peter Hazell, James Thurlow.
