Professor Iain Scobbie participates in UN meeting in Bangkok

Professor Iain Scobbie, the Sir Joseph Hotung Research Professor in Law, Human Rights and Peace Building in the Middle East, recently participated in a two-day meeting organised by the United Nations.
The meeting was in support of Israeli-Palestinian peace. Participants examined efforts to address the obstacles to the two-State solution, looking at Asian and Pacific governmental and non-governmental actors.
Professor Scobbie delivered a paper about the legality of Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory.
