Rachel Kyte, World Bank Vice President for the Sustainable Development Network, visited SOAS to speak to students of the SOAS Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy (CISD).

The Centre was delighted Ms Kyte made time during her brief but busy visit to London for an off the record discussion with students of their Masters in Global Energy and Climate Policy degree.

Commenting on the event, CISD Director, Dr Dan Plesch, said “Engaging in discussion and debate with a senior official of a world institution, on issues such as climate change and sustainability, is part of what the Masters degree is about. That is, deepening theoretical and practical understanding of how energy and climate policies are designed and implemented.”
