The SOAS Summer School programme for 2014 has been announced, offering eleven courses, including law and multiculturalism, the politics of global capitalism, development and history as well as a number of languages such as Arabic, Chinese and Jawi.
Hosted by SOAS Enterprise, The London Middle East Institute and The SOAS China Institute, this SOAS Summer School follows the success of last year’s programme.
Taking a summer course at SOAS enables students to learn about a wide range of different topics in an intensive format, combining theory and practice. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome to take part in the lively discussions and critical analysis that shape summer school classes.
The courses are suitable for current undergraduates, professionals or leisure learners. Taking a summer course at SOAS enables you to fully immerse yourself in a dynamic learning environment.
Director of SOAS Professor Paul Webley said: “Our Summer School has been developed in the same spirit that has built our outstanding reputation for excellence, combining academic rigour with cultural exchange and diversity. It offers a unique and enriching experience at the heart of one of the most exciting cities in the world.”
