SOAS celebrates students who make a difference through volunteerism and enterprise

The Make a Difference Celebration 2014 took place in the Brunei Gallery on Thursday 22nd May in order to recognise students who have made a difference to their local communities by volunteering or setting up projects or enterprises.

Some of our keynote speakers included Paul Webley, Director of SOAS, who gave a speech about Enterprise and Volunteering at SOAS and presented the awards to the winners; Gemma Ludgate, Head of SOAS Careers, host for the evening; Tania Khojasteh, SOAS Graduate Entrepreneur, Founder of Uber Tutors.
