Most Jewish communities around the world, with the notable exception of  the one in Ethiopia, can trace their genetic lineage back to the Levant, according to an article in this week's edition of the journal Nature. It was co-authored by SOAS Professor of Modern Jewish Studies Tudor Parfitt.
