Certificate in Turkish Studies

This certificate is designed for students who already have a good level of competence in Turkish language and do not therefore need intensive language tuition.
Students will be expected to take one language course at a level suitable to their competence, from the following:
The remaining three courses will be chosen from the Turkish list available in the relevant year. Course choice is subject to approval by the Department and acceptance by the teacher concerned.

A Student's Perspective
Mohammad MirbashiriSOAS is a remarkable institution and I am happy to have chosen to study here. Students of the Middle East can really excel in their chosen fields and this year I have had the chance to study courses in the Politics and Media Studies Departments.
