Learn the Facts About Undergraduate Tuition Fees
A new funding system for English higher education will come into effect in the 2012/13 academic year. Beginning in September 2012, universities and colleges will be allowed to charge Home/EU undergraduates tuition fees of up to £9,000 a year.
SOAS has set its undergraduate fee at £9,000. The fee was approved by the Office for Fair Access (OFFA) on 11 July 2011.

The changes only affect new undergraduates starting university in September 2012
This new system of fees applies only to Home/EU students who will be starting an undergraduate course in September 2012. Returning Home/EU students who are progressing on programmes which commenced before 2012-13 will be charged a maximum of £3,465 in 2012/13.
Undergraduate Financial Support 2012/13
SOAS will invest £365,000 in new financial support for undergraduates ordinarily resident in England who are starting a degree in 2012. These awards help ensure that SOAS is accessible to all academically talented people irrespective of family background and income.
