Indonesia and the Malay World is an international scholarly journal which focuses its study of the region on languages, literatures, art, archaeology, history, geography, religions, anthropology and the performing arts. It is published three times a year, in March, July, and November. First published in 1973 as Indonesia Circle, the change of journal title indicates its concern with the entire Malay world and signals a desire to encompass more fully the study of the region.

Indonesia and the Malay World is published by Taylor and Francis. For information on editorial matters, subscription and advertising rates, please contact Dr Ben Murtagh at bm10@soas.ac.uk or visit the Taylor and Francis site.
