Celebrating Rabindranath Tagore's Nobel Centenary, BAITHAK UK presents GITANJALI - an unique audio-visual stage experience about the little book of poems which had a big journey.  Legendary Indian actress Sharmila Tagore ( and great grand niece of Tagore) recites the Gitanjali poems and is joined by a wonderful group of British based musicians and dancers. Also a preview of new Tagore translations in Hindi by the grand Indian poet Javed Akhtar.  Script and Direction: Sangeeta Datta.

The event will be followed by a Q&A and audience interaction with Sharmila Tagore.
