Biography
I will be on sabbatical for the academic year 2011-2012 but will return to SOAS in September 2012. In the meantime, Nick Butler, Laura Hayes and Claire Rowlinson will be managing my countries.
I am the International Officer for the USA, Southern China, Hong Kong, Europe and Japan. I am also the Study Abroad Manager which means I research, set up and manage all our Study Abroad agreements, partners and contacts in the US as well as the general recruitment of students onto the programme. Before joining SOAS I worked for the British Council in London. I then spent 5 years living overseas, working for the government in East Asia (Japan and China), South East Asia (Thailand) and then in India. I am a graduate of Central St Martins and UCL with some floaters taken at SOAS and hold a Professional Diploma in Marketing. I continue to enjoy meeting people from all around the world through my work at SOAS.
