PhD Research

The main research issues are: State's accountability for environmental damage during war and occupation under international humanitarian law and international environmental law; potential conflict and harmonisation in the interpretation of the two fields of law; remediation of, and reparation for, environmental damage.  Principal case study: the 2006 Israel-Lebanon armed conflict.
