PhD Research

My research interest is on the concept of Citizenship and its relation with Security in situations of war or conflict, specifically on the formation of Citizenship on former guerrilla and paramilitary members, result of the Reintegration Process that took place in Colombia  during Alvaro Uribe’s Presidency. I have worked at the Ministry of Education in Colombia and the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations (IEPRI) of the National University of Colombia.

The group is formed by young professionals and students looking to support the peace dialogs that the Colombian government is currently holding with the FARC guerrilla.
