Biography

Eddie Bertozzi is a Ph.D. candidate from Italy. Previously graduated in Chinese language and culture at the University of Venice, his current field of study is contemporary Chinese cinema, and more specifically his project is concerned with the theorisation and analysis of new forms of realism in contemporary Chinese cinema. He published on this topic in the Journal of Chinese Cinemas. In addition to his academic activities, he collaborates with the Venice International Film Critics' Week, section of the Venice Film Festival.
