PhD Research

This research aims at an explanatory analysis of the concept of Justice in stable and liberal democracies that undertake a re-examination of past wrongs.  It intends to explore the nature of transition through the concrete example of France's Colonial past with particular references to the crimes committed in Algeria during the period of 1954 to 1962.
