Biography

I hold a Bachelor degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in International Relations from the University LUISS Guido Carli of Rome. My work experiences include IFAD (the International Fund for Agricultural Development) and Bioversity International (CGIAR).

PhD Research

Indigenous peoples have increasingly become part of both internal and international migratory flows, due to various factors which have pushed many of them to leave their communities of origin and reshape their customs and conduct in different environments . A growing amount of information on this trend has become available over the last few decades. However, the dynamics of indigenous peoples’ migration and the extent to which indigenous populations and their communities are affected by migration are not yet widely known. In particular, the connections between migration and agrobiodiversity conservation is an issue that merits deeper analysis. My research will focus on the Bolivian Andes, particularly on the Lake Titicaca region.
