To explore and delineate the political ecology of the food sovereignty movement in Nepal where food sovereignty is seen to be a response to conditions of deepening social and environmental unsustainability (focussed around food and resource insecurity) engendered by processes of global/local neoliberalisation against a backdrop of extreme inequality of access to land and resources.
