The main objective of this research is to conduct a comparative analysis of the rules governing the formation of contracts for the sale of goods under the OHADA regime and under the regime of the ECOWAS English speaking Member States, to identify their differences and similarities, and find out whether it is possible to reconcile the Common Law and Civil Law commercial law regimes within the ECOWAS framework.
