Biography

Dr. Fan is associate professor at Department of Sociology, National Taiwan University. She's currently a visiting scholar at the Centre of Taiwan Studies. Her current research projects are:

  • Disaster and Civil Society: A Study on Taiwanese Indigenous' Self-organizing after the Marokot Typhoon
  • Women's NGOs in Yunan and Bejing
  • Social Movement and Democratic Transition in Taiwan, 1980s-2000.
