Biography

Kakia Chatsiou’s research interests are within the areas of theoretical linguistics (syntax, semantics, formal theories of language) and digital archiving. She has worked as a Data and Support Services Officer at the <a href=”http://www.data-archive.ac.uk/”>UK Data Archive</a>, University of Essex where she also worked in preparing data management training resources (MANTRA project, EDINA). She has an active research interest in the study of the syntax and semantics of long distance dependencies, with particular focus on the analysis of Relative Clauses in Modern Greek using constraint-based theories of language like <a href=”http://www.essex.ac.uk/linguistics/external/LFG//”> LFG</a>, which .
