Biography

I received my BA (History) from Zhejiang Normal University, China, where I also spent one year in International Relations studies (MA) but left unfinished. I went to SOAS in 2011 for a master in Translation, then decided continuing my study.

PhD Research

My research deals with the development of martial arts novel from early Qing period to late Qing period, its relationship with dramas and the traditional forms of storytelling, its social functions, etc.
