Ms Bilha Moor
Bilha Moor’s PhD was awarded in 2011 at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Department of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. Her dissertation examined Persian and Ottoman illustrated cosmographies in the second half of the 16th century. Upon completing the dissertation she studied early Islamic Arabic epigraphy in the Negev Desert. Currently she continues the research in Islamic illustrated manuscripts of ‘Aja’ib al-Makhluqat (Wonders of Creation) in the Early Modern period, ca. 1550-1700.
