Trying to achieve a perfect work-life balance can sometimes seem like just another impossible demand. We all fulfil multiple roles in life and, at times, combining these roles can lead to problems and impact negatively on our sense of well being. Using two theoretical frameworks, this workshop will help participants to look at their work-life balance from different perspectives and to gain insight into the type of work-life balance that best suits them as individuals.
By the end of the course, the attendees should be able to:
- Understand what work-life balance means for them
- Identify risk factors
- Identify strategies to help manage their work-life balance
To book you can apply for this course in one of three ways:
- Online using the Staff Development Online Booking Form
- By downloading a request form from the link on the right
- By email to staffdevelopment@soas.ac.uk
