Is Coaching for you?
Coaching is now acknowledged to be one of the most effective ways to develop managers / leaders by helping to provide quality time for reflection. It may assist with:
- Developing your management and leadership style
- Managing your relationships with staff, peers and your manager
- Developing your strategic planning and vision
- Dealing with competing priorities & stress
- Becoming a leader, rather than overseer of tasks and objectives
- Meeting your potential
- Career planning
- Dealing with feedback e.g. from appraisals
You will have access to a team of coaches with a range of professional, business and academic backgrounds. All have personal experience of management roles.
SOAS Coaching
Our coaching will be:
- A one to one confidential relationship
- A safe space for reflecting on and managing personal and professional development
- Timely – arranged by you when you most need this help
- Typically 4 x 90 minute sessions over a six – twelve month period
- An opportunity to gain greater competence
- An opportunity to talk about your current issues
Coaching will provide managers and leaders with high quality flexible development opportunities that complement other training and development initiatives.
