Type of Event: Conference
Emerge London brings together homegrown social innovators to address how entrepreneurial approaches can challenge the most pressing social issues in the capital. The conference connects and engages students, aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders from across the social sector, who will gather to discuss with London-based entrepreneurs what’s next to come: the big issues, the big ideas, the big solutions.
With a focus on learning, practical application, and action, participants will have the opportunity to engage with some of the leading thinkers and doers in the London social enterprise sector. Emerge London is a space to gain skills and resources, to launch a new venture, to design intrapeneurial or entrepreneurial career pathways, and to provoke new ideas for creating a more sustainable world.
From starting up to scaling up, meet social entrepreneurs and aspiring agents of change who are at different stages of their journey in making social change happen, and who are innovating for a sustainable future. Join us at Emerge London for the opportunity to network, skill up, learn and do.
The event is co-designed and co-organised by Imperial Hub and Student Hubs at SOAS, supported by The Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School and Student Hubs, a student-led organisation working in universities across the UK to engage students with social and environmental issues. Emerge London will launch on Friday 6th June at SOAS with a keynote address and networking. The conference will take place on Saturday 7th June at Imperial College London, with a full programme of keynotes, panel discussions, break-outs, and a marketplace Bazaar that will showcase some of the most innovative social enterprises London has to offer.
