Unltd Partnership at SOAS
Social entrepreneurship is a rapidly growing movement within the HE sector and SOAS has been chosen as a pioneering partner for the UnLtd and HEFCE HE Support Initiative. Over the next eighteen months, SOAS will work with UnLtd to develop a support structure which places social entrepreneurship at the heart of the institution, as well as giving staff and students the chance to start up a social venture.
Staff, students and graduates (up to 1 year of graduating) can apply for funding to set up a social enterprise or project. Awards range from £500 (try it) to £5,000 (do it). Applications are now open; the closing date is Monday 25 February. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to pitch their idea to a panel on Thursday 7 March.
