Unltd Partnership at SOAS

Social entrepreneurship is a rapidly growing movement within the HE sector and SOAS has been chosen as a pioneering partner for the UnLtd and HEFCE HE Support Initiative. Over the next eighteen months, SOAS will work with UnLtd to develop a support structure which places social entrepreneurship at the heart of the institution, as well as giving staff and students the chance to start up a social venture.

Staff, students and graduates (up to 1 year of graduating) can apply for funding to set up a social enterprise or project.  Awards range from £500 (try it) to £5,000 (do it).  For more information please read the criteria document. You can also make an appointment to discuss your idea with Claire Hardesty or drop in to the SOAS Hub on Thursday's in the SU, contact Rhiannon Horsley manager@soashub.org if you want to make an appointment or to check when she's in.

Applications are now open; the closing date is Monday 25 February.  Shortlisted applicants will be invited to pitch their idea to a panel on Thursday 7 March.
