Orientation January 2014
Your Orientation, Sunday 5th January
The January 2014 orientation for all new Study Abroad and exchange students will take place on Sunday 5th January. Attendance is compulsory for all students.
The day will start at 10.15am prompt. Sophie will be there to welcome you all to SOAS and talk you through how to register for classes, set-up your SOAS email accounts, join the library and students' union and much more. There will be presentations by Dr Shabnum Tejani (the academic advisor for Study Abroad students) and representatives from Student Services, and there will be an opportunity for you to meet current SOAS students.
Orientation is also a chance for you to meet other new students and for us to answer all of your questions about SOAS so it is essential that you attend. If for some reason you miss orientation (for example, because of a delayed flight) then you must go and see Sophie on Monday, 6th January instead. You will find her in the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office in room G1 (just behind the main reception desk at Russell Square).
