The Seventh SOAS Taiwan Studies Postgraduate Summer School will take place from June 19 to 21, 2013. It comprises lecturers and graduate training seminars. Lecture topics include environmental politics, Taiwanese in China, judicial politics, marriage migration, fieldwork and publishing in Taiwan Studies and maritime disputes. The events on 19 and 20 June will take place in V111 (Vernon Square campus). The events on 21 June will take place in B111, Brunei Gallery & Khalili Lecture Theatre (Russell Square campus).

Research Training Seminar in Taiwan Studies:

This course is designed for students planning or currently conducting research projects in the field of Taiwan Studies. Students should prepare a short (20 minute maximum) presentation of their research project and will receive feedback from the seminar organizers. Students wishing to give presentations should email Monique Chu (mc80@soas.ac.uk) and include an abstract on their proposed research topic.
