Birkbeck College Rooms
This year SOAS is again using some teaching rooms in Birkbeck College.
Whilst we know it is preferable to hold all classes within SOAS, the limited size of our estate make it sometimes essential to use rooms elsewhere.
The rooms we are using are situated in 30 Russell Square.
If you are unsure of the location of this building it is number 5. on the map link below.
30 Russell Square rooms all have fixed PCs, data projectors or LCD screens, multi-region DVD players and internet access.
The process for using the AV and IT equipment in these rooms is as follows:
- You will need to sign at the reception desk for the building in which your class is held key for AV cabinet in the room.
- You will then be able to use all the equipment including the DVD player and fixed PC.
- You will be sent a username and password separately to log into the PC.
- Please run any presentations directly from the memory source rather than saving it to the desktop.
- If you have any problems with the AV or IT equipment please phone 020 7631 6220 or ext. 6220 from the phone in the room.
