Centre for Water and Development

Collaboration with TISS Mumbai

The project involves collaborative academic activities between the Centre for Water and Development at SOAS and the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) in Mumbai, India. The project aims and activities include:

  • Developing and strengthening a new curriculum for the ‘Masters programme in Water Policy and Governance’ at TISS, Mumbai.
  • Capacity building of young faculty members from TISS for the MSc programme.
  • Developing a collaborative research agenda between TISS and Centre for Water and Development at SOAS in the area of water policy and governance.
  • Planning a joint Winter Institute and/or Summer School on topics from the area of water policy and governance.
