Navigation/Navon Guide for SuperUsers
It is now possible for SuperUsers to add newly created pages to the navigation without needing to contact the Web Content Manager.
When you create a new folder you will notice the navon will start in pending state and move to public automatically.
Don't worry, even though the navon is live it won't show on the live site until the page it's associated with is also in a public state.
You can link a page to a navon by right clicking on the page you want to make the landing page (a generic page, event, programme etc.)
At the bottom of the action menu you will see a new option of 'Set As Landing Page' - click on this, and click OK on the button that appears in the pop up box.
This will link the navon in the folder to the page.
When you send the page to publish it will appear in the right navigation.
The only think you would need to contact webcontent@soas.ac.uk about re the navigation is to reorder it, change the titles in the navigation or to move areas of the site around.
