Research interests
Barak Kushner teaches modern Japanese history at the University of Cambridge. His research includes the history of Japanese propaganda, Sino-Japan relations, comedy, and food history. He is currently working on a history of ramen and a manuscript detailing how the Chinese dealt with BC class Japanese war crimes trials.
