Abstract

In this interactive session MA Taiwan Studies alumni Ed Moon will discuss how he developed his career in Taiwan after graduating from SOAS. He will particularly focus on his experiences working in Taiwan’s government and media sectors.

Speaker's Bio

Ed Moon is a graduate of the SOAS Taiwan Studies MA course. After graduating he moved to Taiwan to further study Chinese on a government Huayu scholarship. Since then he has worked in the media
and government sectors, including for The China Post, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and most recently
on the news desk for the country’s new English-language media platform TaiwanPlus.
