About this event

A conference by the Yearbook of Islamic and Middle Eastern Law (YIMEL) and the Centre of Islamic and Middle Eastern Law (CIMEL)

We are pleased to invite you to participate in their in-person conference: “International Women’s Day 2023: Embracing Equity in the Middle East and Asia”. This conference aims to promote Women's empowerment, to smash gender stereotypes, and to explore how to embrace equity.

Our distinguished panel of practitioners will cover the MENA region, Egypt, Iran, Afghanistan and Indonesia. Attendance is free. There will then be the opportunity to network with our fantastic host of legal experts and enjoy a free cocktail reception from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.

Conference sign in is 5:00pm - 5:30pm. The conference will start at 5:30pm followed by a reception from 8:00pm-9:00pm.
