The JMI Online series is currently broadcasting 1 lecture (Wednesdays) and 1 concert (Thursdays) both take place from 7.30pm BST.

Lectures

For the the rest of April and May the lectures will be from our recent Yallah: Judeo-Arabic Music conference that we hosted together with SOAS and University of Cambridge.

The next 2 lectures take place:
29th April: Professor Michael Figueroa; Remixing Sephardism
6th May: Dr Bea Lewkowicz; Sephardi Voices

Concerts

The concerts are part of a broadcast partnership between JMI and the Jerusalem Orchestra East West. These are themed pre-recorded concerts featuring some of the greatest Israeli and Jewish singers. 

The upcoming concerts take place:

30th April: Istanbul for the Independence Holiday with singer Sapir Saban
7th May: Persian Nights with singer Liraz Charhi
14th May: Songs of Love from Andalusia with singer and flamenco guitarist David Broza
