Biography
Jacob served in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for seven years, during which he was posted to Australian Embassy in Afghanistan and contributed to the development of Australia's foreign and security policies in Iraq, Syria, South East Asia and the United States. He completed his masters degrees in International Relations and Diplomacy with first class honours at the Australian National University. He was also the 2015 Thawley Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC, where he researched US-China relationship dynamics and published several opinion pieces on Afghanistan and US Foreign Policy.
