Biography
Jamie McDonald is the Network Coordinator of the University Network for Strengthening Macrofinancial Resilience to Climate and Environmental Change. He received his MSc in Development Economics from SOAS, University of London, where his research focussed on the IMF and climate change, in particular, analysing which climate-related policies the IMF were promoting in climate vulnerable economies in the Global South. Before starting the role as Network Coordinator he was a Research Assistant at SOAS where he did further research on the IMF and climate change, examining the prevalence of climate change and related issues in IMF publications.
