Biography
Yunzi's research focuses on thecomparison of the representation of sexual politics in contemporary Chinese cinema and Iranian cinema. She has an educational background at Communication University of China, KCL, and UCL. She has recently completed her fieldwork in Iran, including an interview with the female director Rakhshan Banietemad. Yunzi is currently teaching as a GTA in the Department of Politics and International Studies, SOAS. She is also the editor-in-chief of The SOAS Journal of Postgraduate Research.
