Roland

Roland is currently a Director of ChristchurchNZ, a non-executive Director of  Asahi Beverages Oceania, non-executive Director of the Amber Beverages Group, Chairman of Pure Sports Nutrition and Chairman of Steens Honey. He has extensive senior management experience in the FMCG industry: he was Chief Executive of Maxxium Worldwide and Chief Executive of William Grant & Sons.

He is a graduate of Nijenrode Business University in the Netherlands, holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, an MA in Social Anthropology from SOAS and is currently completing his PhD in Management at the University of Canterbury.

Married with two daughters and one grandson, he resides in Christchurch, New Zealand.
